A first rate example of the Kelt 7.6. Very well equipped and maintained cruiser/club racer. Lots of new and upgraded equipment; standing headroom in main cabin; sleeps 2 in private forward cabin, and 3 in main cabin; aft fully enclosed head with sink/mirror; drop leaf table in main saloon; navigation station/table; galley with stove and stainless sink; Category B offshore rating (winds up to and including force 8 and waves heights up to and including 13 ft.); PHRF-LO rating of 210.
Kelt build quality - superior construction for a boat in this category; solid glass - 3/4 inch in bottom of hull and fibreglass corecell cored deck. Boat has never had bottom blistering or deck core delamination problems.
Honda four stroke 9.9HP transom mounted outboard with assisted lifting bracket (see picture);
Marine stainless steel propane barbecue with removable mount on stern pulpit;
Pivoting stainless swim ladder on transom; fore and aft stainless pulpits, aluminium toe rail;
Sheaffer furling;
Spinnaker gear;
Instruments: Datamarine speedo and depthsounder, Plastimo bulkhead mount compass, Garmin GPS, Raymarine 25 watt VHF with masthead antenna, Sony 40watt CD/AM/FM/MP3 with 2 Clarion Marine waterproof speakers in cockpit and 2 cabin speakers, Raymarine Autohelm 1000 autopilot with optional GPS connection;
North Sails Dacron main, #3 genoa, storm jib
North Sails .75oz nylon tri-radial spinnaker
New (2007) North Sails "Norlam" composite 140% genoa with added UV protection and furling pad (for shape retention while reefed) in luff
2 batteries, one new deep cycle battery in 2008
Solar panel for trickle charging batteries
Shore power plugin, 15amp cord, built in battery charger, cabin wired for 120v
2007 hardware upgrade including Spinlock shovel handle tiller extension, Spinlock winch stoppers and cleats, Harken blocks
2 speed genoa winches, 2 cabin top halyard winches
Bottom/keel redone in 2007, all old coatings/paint removed, Interlux epoxy base coating applied, Interlux MicronCSC antifouling (blue)
Hull professionally painted with Awlgrip epoxy (white);
Complete with flares, charts, horn, fenders, dock lines, life jackets, etc.;
Foredeck anchor locker with Danforth anchor, 200 foot nylon anchor line with 10 foot chain;
Mooring buoy and nylon double mooring bridal;
Steel cradle and tarp for winter storage;
