Hi all, I'm looking to purchase a 26-30 footer for under 10,000 G's as that's all I've got to spend. I'd prefer a Grampian, Pearson or Tanzer but would be interested to hear about any other boats out there going for reasonable. Joe 902-860-0917 (Waverley)

Check, but if memory serves the DYC is having its in the water boat show on Saturday. Call Curtis at the club to confirm that it is happening: 468-6050.

On another note, if you are interested in competitive sailing a good quality J-24 can be had in that price range. Check the web.

Hey Jaydug, If you want to do a little racing why don't you comoe down to the club and I"ll let people know you are looking to crew pending your boat purchase?
On the Rocket, I just got word from Alan Barnes that they sold a Rocket to a guy in Calgary for delivery in the spring of'08, and that there is a lot of interest coming out of Seattle and Fort Worth. So much so in fact thatt they are hiring 2-3 more guys and moving the facility to larger quarters at the end of September.
I had an interesting meeting with Alan at the end of May on the further refinement made to the design and I am still looking at delivery at the end of August. I am debating whether I want to add a Code 0 to the sail inventory at the moment. End of high jack.
