Hello fellow Halifax Sailors!!
I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. My name is Steve Angel. After four years of brokering yachts with another local company, I have decided to strike out on my own and open a company - Angel Marine. Why?
1. A brokerage should provide a level of service that properly reflects the product being sold. This means high quality promotional materials for each boat. Angel Marine will provide potential buyers with a coloured brochure featuring quality pictures and detailed specs of the boat. Not only does Angel Marine utilize all of the typical marketing channels to get the word out on your boat (Yachworld.com, Boat for Sale, Atlantic Boating News, etc.) but we also focus on grass roots tactics to ensure your listing gets maximum exposure. Your boat will be advertised at every local yacht club, marina, business, and bulletin board we can find.
2. Angel marine will also provide professional representation regardless of the value of the boat being purchased or sold. We understand that the yacht brokerage business is built on repeat customers. You may be interested in buying a starter boat to try out the sport and while this boat may not be a huge investment, and the corresponding commission may be low, we are committed to providing you with professional service. We want you back when you decide to sell that boat and buy a new one. Angel Marine treats every client, boat, and customer with the utmost care and respect, despite the value of the boat being purchased or sold. Every customer is deeply valued.
3. Whether your boat is located in Canso, Shediac, Petit de Gras or Halifax, you and your boat deserve professional representation. If your boat is located within the Atlantic provinces, I will visit it, take photos, perform a market valuation and detail the inventory. I will personally show the boat to potential clients, solicit offers and do everything in my power to get your boat sold. I do this with the hope that if you are satisfied, you will return to use the services of my company in the future.
4. Buying (or selling) a boat should be fun and exciting but it is a complex task. As with most large purchases, utilizing the services of a professional should take the worry and stress out of the equation. We want you to concentrate on the route you are going to take to the Bras D’Or this year, not on how your new boat is going to be delivered to your club. We concentrate on the details so you can concentrate on the water.
Thanks to all of you who have used my services in the past. Angel Marine will be here when you are ready to buy or sell in the future. We’ll see you on the water!!!
