Did you kow you can send personal messages to other on the site. It has nothing to do with your registered email address. Simply click on the user's name, and choose to send them a personal message. When you login, look at the top of the page, next to your user name for any new messages people have sent you. It is a great, quick easy way to communicate with people on this forum!!
When you go into your personal message center, you have the option to have an alert box to notify you when a new private message has arrived. This option is not activated by default - To activate select 'yes' to the pop-up box question, and everytime your log on, or when you are browsing the site, a box will pop-up should you have a new message. I use this feature and like it!!
Happy Messaging!!!

Once in your personal message screen (The word 'message' next to your username), you can change your personal messages preferences.
Top right hand side, 'preferences' - there you can have an alert set to inform you of new messages everytime you login, or even have the board email your personal email with a notification!!
