OK...here's the deal. I am proud to announce that I am a new full fledged member of the DYC and am primarily a dinghy sailor. Years ago when I lived in Calgary I was a very active crew member with the San Juan 21 fleet at the Glenmore Sailing Club. For the past number of years I have gone into hiatus with racing except for the Keith's Race aboard "Climax" last year.
My latest claim to fame is a solo trip in my CL 16 from Halifax to Cape Breton (see Atlantic Boating News April Issue) but am now mildly interested in racing again. I am looking at the racing calendar for the DYC an am wondering what class I can use my dinghy to race. All I can think of so far is the occassional Monday Night Race against Sailable's new Martin 16. I'm perfectly fine with that but I'm wondering what regatta's I'd be eligible for?
Along with that I'd also be available to be a drop-in crew for the larger vessels if asked. ( or maybe if I beg enough)
